Twitter in 120 Minutes or Less

This workshop is for marketing and communications professionals, or for anyone interested in utilizing Twitter for his/her nonprofit. Attendees should come to the workshop with an organization's Twitter account already set up.

What is Twitter and why should I use it? And how in the world do I post in 140 characters or less? So many questions, just in time. Twitter is a micro-blogging system that lets you send mini, meaningful messages to your followers. Need help tweeting for your nonprofit? This workshop will look at ways to utilize Twitter and help you understand, brand and expand one tweet at a time. Now tweet that!

Through this workshop, participants will:
  • Learn how to use twitter to build potential donor or volunteer lists
  • Learn how to build an audience on the online platform
  • Learn how to use twitter for an event.
  • Develop tools to maximize minimal time for twitter
