Major Gifts

One core credit toward Revenue Development Certificate
One elective credit toward Nonprofit Leadership Certificate

This workshop is designed for those new to the field of revenue development, experienced fundraisers looking to implement new strategies, or anyone with a development aspect to his/her position.

Major gifts don’t happen right away. If it were as easy as introducing yourself to a potential donor and asking for a big gift of financial support for the programs and services of your nonprofit, we wouldn't need a workshop. But, there is a reason they call this "development." It is the process through which we identify, cultivate, solicit and steward the gifts from major investors in our organizations. Through this hands-on, interactive session, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice vital skills in each step of the development process – which leads to the successful solicitation of major gifts.

CNM is an approved provider for CFRE International Continuing Education Program. Full participation in the Major Gifts is applicable for up to six (6.00) continuing education points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
