Events: How Special Are They?

This workshop is designed for both new and seasoned nonprofit event planners.

Feel like you’re getting an invitation for a new event every night? We all know that Nashville is an event-heavy town, and the nonprofit sector is no exception. So how do you make your event stand out from the rest?

Maybe your agency is considering a new event or your annual fundraiser is losing ground and needs a refresh now. From home parties to golf tournaments to galas, this workshop will explore the choices agencies have to maximize each event’s return on mission.

Through this workshop, participants will:
  • Create a checklist for a new friendraising or fundraising event
  • Have a tool to determine when an event needs to be refreshed or discontinued
  • Be knowledgeable about "add ons" like silent online and live auctions, patron's events, after-event parties, online registration, contracted services for event execution, etc.

CNM is an approved provider for CFRE International Continuing Education Program. Full participation in Events: How Special Are They? is applicable for up to three (3.00) continuing education points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
