Workshop Prerequisite: Attendees must have attended Volunteer Program Management: Parts 1-3. This workshop is designed for volunteer managers interested in detailed instruction about how to implement a volunteer program. This class is part 4 of a 4 part series, and it is recommended that you sign up for all 4 parts. 

Are you feeling overwhelmed or lost with the day-to-day operation of your volunteer program? Have you recently been tasked with building a successful volunteer base for your agency? Running a successful volunteer program requires implementing smart management systems and procedures. This half-day session is the last class in a four-part series exploring Volunteer Program Management. Topics covered will include: visioning, volunteer leaders, and time management. Participants are encouraged to bring relevant challenges as we troubleshoot together.

Throughout this series, participants will be able to: 
  • Understand the Ladder of Leadership model and be able to apply it to various volunteer positions
  • Understand how volunteer leaders can help build capacity
  •  Document where their program is now, where they want to see it in a year, and what concrete steps they will take to get there
