This workshop is intended for nonprofit CEOs, program managers, or financial managers.

Does your organization have internal controls in place for administrative and accounting procedures? Do you know what policies and procedures are necessary to manage the authorization and recording of transactions, asset accountability, and segregation of duties? Ensuring the reliability of accounting data through a basic internal control system is necessary for the sustainability of your organization. In this workshop, you will learn the different systems you can implement for accurate accounting procedures.

Through this workshop, participants will:
  • Develop and document the organization's internal control framework in compliance with COSO.
  • Identify and document controls for key financial transaction areas within your organization.
  • Be able to update and document key financial policies and procedures for your organization.
