Developing Effective Sponsorship Opportunities

One credit toward Revenue Development Certificate

This workshop is designed for revenue development professionals at all levels.

Whether you’re writing your first sponsorship proposal or you’re interested in taking your sponsors’ experience to the next level, this workshop is for you. Participants will build a basic, marketing-driven list of sponsorship benefits.  Then, they’ll get creative and maximize the opportunity by adding benefits that help sponsors deliver on their business objectives.  From developing sponsor prospect lists to writing proposals to developing giving levels and associated benefits to compiling reports, you’ll be able to build nonprofit/sponsor relationships that add value for all partners and their brands.  

Through this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Develop sponsorship proposals
  • Understand the current investment climate
  • Fulfill sponsorship benefits and report back to sponsors

Full participation in the Developing Effective Sponsorship Opportunities is applicable for up to three (3.00) continuing education points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
