Has your organization worked hard in crafting a grant, only to be denied?
The fundraising environment is more competitive than ever. It is essential to know what is necessary to write grant proposals that lead to funding. This intensive, two-day workshop will take you step by step through the development of an actual proposal geared specifically toward your organization and written by you. In this session you will your proposal idea, needs statements, goals, objectives and sustainability plans and bring a completed proposal back to your organization with feedback from an experienced grant writing professional.
As part of your registration and a takeaway resource, participants will receive a copy of “Winning Grants.”
Topics Addressed: grant writing, fundraising, effective written communication, and storytelling
Level: intermediate (not for fundraising beginners)
Who should attend?
- Nonprofit professionals who have taken Basic Grant Writing or Basic Writing Federal Grants course at CNM or an equivalent course
- Nonprofit professionals with a minimum of three years of grant writing experience
Method of Facilitation: interactive workshopping, group work, discussion, hands on practice, presentations.
Note: In preparation for this workshop, participants will be required to submit a two-page concept paper a week before the workshop.
This work will amplify the impact of nonprofits by helping participants:
- Develop a complete proposal for their organization’s next grant.
- Work with a grant writing and fundraising expert to craft the organization’s written story.
- Collaborate with peers to network and share grant writing insights.
This two-day training opportunity will begin Monday, July 16 at 8:30 a.m. and close Tuesday, July 17 at 3:30 p.m. The fee for this event includes registration and lunch for two days of training. Payment is due in full with registration; cancellations available if received by CNM in writing up to one week prior to session and if waiting list provides replacement.
CNM is an approved provider for CFRE International Continuing Education Program. Full participation in the Intensive Two-Day Grant Writing Clinic is applicable for up to twelve (12.00) continuing education points per day for a total of twelve (12) during the clinic in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
