Project Management for Achieving Your Strategic Mission

Do you have control over your projects, or do they control you?


In this workshop, participants will learn project management best practices and how to apply them to their organization. Participants will be shown tools and techniques used in high performing organizations, from nonprofits to corporations. Time will be provided to evaluate and develop your organization’s project and workflow process. Participants will learn the various types of communication necessary to keep all important stakeholders informed through the process.


Topics Addressed: program management, human resources, resource management, communication


Level: Intermediate level course (not for nonprofit beginners)

Who should attend?

  • Nonprofit professionals interested in furthering their project management skills.
  • CNM Members working toward the Program Management certificate (2018)
  • CNM Members working toward their Volunteer Management certificate (2019 onward).

Method of Facilitation: interactive lecture, group discussion
