Building Brand Awareness for Your Nonprofit Organization

What does branding have to do with running a successful nonprofit organization? Quite a bit! Accomplishing your mission, gaining more program participants and raising funds depends heavily on the effectiveness of your brand — what people perceive and know about you. Much of that perception is based on how well you communicate with audiences verbally and visually through your brand.


In this hands-on session, we will explore the components of an effective brand, learn why branding is so important to the nonprofit sector, discover how you can improve your brand and communications. Interactive exercises will focus on specific, tangible steps you can take regardless of your marketing experience. You will leave the session with insight and tools you can use to build and maintain your strong brand.
