Data is a critical element for any program evaluation or research. How can we ensure that the collection and gathering methods are effective and ethical? How do we gathering data that is equitable and thoughtful about including more voices?

In this session with program evaluation experts of Elevate Consulting, learn best practices for collecting data for your organization. Learn the history of how data has been misused purposefully or unconsciously. Participants will explore examples of excellent data gathering and learn common pitfalls. Also, explore how this lens of gathering, analyzing, and reporting data equitably relates to the Collective Impact movement and framework. Leave with a better understand of where your organization is on the spectrum of gathering data equitable, and what next steps you would focus on. This workshop is designed for any nonprofit or government professional with an evaluation or research aspect to their work.
