Kevin Cherep, Chief Development Officer, Soles 4 Souls
Prior to moving to Middle Tennessee in 2011, Kevin spent 10 years in Chicago Illinois as an executive with CCS Fund Raising, the country’s largest non-profit consulting firm. During his time at CCS, Kevin worked with organizations in nearly every sector of the non-profit community with a specialty in global health initiatives. He has designed and implemented fundraising strategies that have raised nearly $400 million dollars. During his tenure at CCS, Kevin served as Executive Director of the Lions Clubs International Foundation’s Campaign SightFirst II, a global campaign to fight preventable blindness which raised more than $200 million and saved the sight of nearly 35 million people around the world. Kevin was also a key member of the executive team that designed campaigns for Kiwanis International to fight maternal neo-natal tetanus and the United Methodist Church’s Imagine No Malaria initiative. Kevin is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer for Soles 4 Souls.
After serving as a Naval Cryptologist, Kevin attended DePaul University in Chicago and was involved in many Chicago-based community projects including serving as a board member for the young non-profit professional network, as well as volunteering his time with American Diabetes Association, local food banks, several church committees, and coaching youth sports. Kevin is a member of Downtown Rotary, serves on the Outreach Committee with the Nashville Ballet and as a volunteer at Camp Bluebird, America’s first adult cancer camp located here in Middle Tennessee.
