Sean McGee, Managing Principal, CauseImpact, LLC
Sean McGee is Managing Principal at CauseImpact. An experienced strategist, manager and entrepreneur, McGee has 20 years of leadership experience in conceptualizing, developing and managing new enterprises. He has extensive experience in organizing and operating a wide variety of enterprises and groups of all sizes, from entire businesses to business divisions, community festivals, competitions, and educational programs. He has worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, and has successfully bridged the divide between the two sectors.
McGee is proud to serve as a regular guest lecturer for the Contract Honors program at the OSU Fisher College of Business, as a judge for the Ohio State University Business Plan Competition at the OSU Fisher College of Business, and as a community advisor for the OSU Business Builders Club, a student organization for undergraduate entrepreneurs at the Ohio State University. In 2008, he coached the team that won the inaugural Social Enterprise Award from the OSU Fisher College of Business.
An active member of the Social Enterprise Alliance, McGee is a regular presenter at the annual Social Enterprise Summit on a variety of topics relating to Social Enterprise.
Following his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at The Ohio State University, McGee has continued his pursuit of knowledge, most recently through a series of intensive executive education classes at OSU. He has kept up-to-date through ongoing studies of marketing, strategy, leadership, finance and human resources, earning two Certificates of Excellence in Social Enterprise along the way.
