Attorney Scott Hickman
Scott Hickman practices in the areas of employment law and business dispute resolution. His practice primarily involves assisting businesses involved in litigation or other dispute resolution, often representing employers in employment matters, as well as assisting and advising them on day-to-day employee relations. Scott is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was the senior managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review,and also holds bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) in history from Tennessee Technological University. A native of Knoxville, he is currently a member of the law firm of Sherrard, Roe, Voigt & Harbison, PLC in Nashville, where he has worked since 1995.
Scott is active in charitable and civic matters, including service on the boards of non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee. Most recently he chaired the Planning Committee for the 2015 Muscle Team Gala benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Nashville, and is serving in the same role for the 2016 event. He has also served as the Board Chairperson for the Historic Traveller’s Rest Plantation and Museum and on the board of Nashville’s Table.
