CNM Trainers

For over a decade, Joy has worked in social justice advocacy and community relational development, primarily in the areas of nonprofit program management and development. In that time, she had many roles. She served as a Training Coordinator with national AmeriCorps program City Year, as well as an AmeriCorps VISTA Community Program Coordinator to a poverty solutions collaborative. She also was the Training Coordinator of Ohio Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the Minister of Mission & Ministries to a Columbus, OH-based church.

Joy completed her M.Div. from Vanderbilt Divinity School in December 2018 with a focus in transformational change and play. The current iteration of her strategic planning consultancy focuses around supporting organizations and persons in discerning and refining how intentional commitment to vision, mission, and values generate greater interpersonal, organizational, and community relationships and impact.
