over a decade, Joy has worked in social justice advocacy and community relational
development, primarily in the areas of nonprofit program management and
development. In that time, she had many roles. She served as a Training Coordinator with national
AmeriCorps program City Year, as well as an AmeriCorps VISTA Community Program
Coordinator to a poverty solutions collaborative. She also was the Training Coordinator of
Ohio Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the Minister of Mission &
Ministries to a Columbus, OH-based church.
completed her M.Div. from Vanderbilt Divinity School in December 2018 with a
focus in transformational change and play. The current iteration of her strategic
planning consultancy focuses around supporting organizations and persons in discerning
and refining how intentional commitment to vision, mission, and values generate
greater interpersonal, organizational, and community relationships and impact.
