Erika Burnett, Nashville Affiliate Director CISTN
Erika has proudly served Nashville’s nonprofit community for over 10 years as a master trainer, strategic thought-leader and program director. Prior to joining CISTN, Erika worked with organizations such as the Oasis Center, Hands On Nashville and the YWCA of Middle TN equipping community members to advocate for their needs and driving meaningful outcomes for the city’s most vulnerable populations. She received her B.A. in English Education from Tennessee State University and her M.A. in Education in Community Development Action from Vanderbilt University. Erika is a proud AmeriCorps Alum and firmly believes that “service is a lifestyle”. A true servant leader, she emphasizes collaboration, accountability and civic engagement as drivers for meaningful impact in the lives of students and families.
