Belinda Dinwiddie, Director of Donor Education, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee
With more than 20 years experience in non profit management, development and fundraising, Belinda Dinwiddie currently directs donor education efforts on behalf of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. In the past seven years, Belinda raised more than $25 million in capital funding for Adventure Science Center, allowing the Center to radically transform itself with new exhibits and expansion projects, such as the new Sky & Space wing that recently opened. As a member of the Adventure Science Center senior management team, Belinda directed all development initiatives for both operating and capital funding and was involved in determining strategic plans for the Center. Belinda began her development career at Cumberland University, where she designed and implemented the first Phoenix Ball. She later joined Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee as Director of Development and Communications, before becoming the Executive Director of the Tennessee Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she increased revenues by 400 percent and established one of the first major gift programs in the national organization’s history.
