Street Works seeks a progressive, mission-focused Executive Director. Street Works’ mission is to prevent the spread of HIV disease and provide care and supportive services for those infected and affected through outreach, education, and advocacy in communities of greatest risk.
The position oversees a 10+ staff team and reports to a volunteer board of directors. Successful candidates must have demonstrated abilities across a broad range of managerial functions including strategic planning, fundraising, fiscal management, program planning and development, marketing, and public relations. Must possess excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills, a passion for serving others, and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Advanced degree preferred, with demonstrated experience running an organization the size and scope of Street Works. Candidates should possess five or more years of experience in the fields of HIV/STI/viral hepatitis, prevention and treatment, and drug use disorders and have 2+ years of working from a harm reduction model.
