Position Description - Responsibilities and Requirements:

Job Title: Corporate Project Manager 

Reports To: Director of Corporate Engagement 

Status: Full-time, Exempt 

Position Summary: The Corporate Project Manager (Manager) works as part of a dynamic, high-energy team to execute Hands On Nashville’s (HON) corporate volunteer projects and special events. The Manager oversees all aspects of event planning, including project development, relationship cultivation with partner organizations and day-of leadership. 

 

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Manage 50+ projects/events per year  

  • Organize all logistics associated with projects including scope of work, staffing, supply procurement, budgeting and management 

  • Serve as an ambassador and liaison between HON and partners 

  • Develop and lead training sessions for community volunteers, contractors and HON Staff 

  • Provide professional development and day-to-day management of Corporate Partner Program AmeriCorps member(s) 

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite 

 

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree  

  • 3+ years’ experience coordinating/managing large-scale events or volunteer projects 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements   

  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends; some overnight travel will be necessary 

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
